Super Sale Alert

Anarchy Street is one of my favorite online retailers. I couldn’t help but share their current 40% off sale. There’s plenty of the following goodies:

Sassy Accessories (I don’t know why, but I am currently obsessed with horse shoes)

Amazing tunics and dresses (especially this one since it’s all about the cold shoulder this season!)

This coat (I don’t have much use for it here in FL, but someone please buy it and wear it and love it!)

And everything in between! Check out the sale and let me know what you think.

Seeing Doubles

I can’t remember where I saw these (the save date is 8/31/11- as if you care), but as soon as I did I immediately saved the picture to my desktop.

They totally reminded me of my neon shoe DIY from a few months ago and yet, I would still buy them. All I know is that they’re Calvin Klein and I’m hoping they were from a SS 2012 Preview. Anyone know any more deets on these?

The Box: NYC’s Best Party Spot

Snapshots from my last nights out in NYC. Yanique and I hit up a bunch of spots but ended up at The Box. You’ve probably figured out by now (by following this blog) that I love going out and The Box was certainly a great place to be. PS. just in case you were wondering, we left before the Burlesque performances. *Cue Beyonce- Party*

And one more gratuitous shot of Yanique’s Wangs (that look awesome and I love them!) This girl e-mails me with elements of her outfits before we go out. Bet you wish you had friends like that!

I’m settling in to my life here in FL. It totally helps that I have a local blogger friend here, Veronica. She’s already taken me to her favorite spots here and when I say the stores were nothing short of amazing I’m not lying!

Countdown

It’s official, this snow bird is flying from NYC to FL on Wednesday afternoon. I bought a one-way ticket, so I don’t exactly know when I’ll be making my way back North but the good news is I’ll be back. I have to apologize for the lack of posts as of late, I’ve been busy packing and enjoying my last days here in NYC.

I spent the majority of my weekend having fun, the abbreviated version: happy hours, bar hopping, clubbing, dinners, picnics, photo shoots and a housewarming. You can see a sneak peek of the fun over on Yanique’s blog.

What does this mean for the blog?

Well I certainly WILL NOT be taking a hiatus from posting. I’ll be keeping you updated on my life in the sun, Emergy, and the new bloggers I meet!

Fashion and Beauty Week Spotlight

My favorite designer from last week’s Fashion and Beauty Week event was Bound + Tide. I know, I know it’s Fall why am I still talking about swimwear? Probably because of the 80+ degree temperatures in NYC and the fact that I’m obsessed with swimsuits; I’m the crazy lady who needs to pack a different bikini for each day of my vacation. They’re like outfits for me, so naturally when I saw the models strutting down the runway in these, I could barely contain my excitement!

What I love most about B+T swimwear are the bold prints. These are not your average swimsuits, whether or not you’re headed to the beach throw a skirt or shorts over them and you’ll be wearing one very cool ensemble.

My personal favorite is the Lips One Piece above.

I’ve been a long-time fan of Australian brand We Are Handsome, spotted on Rihanna and Susie Bubble. Now that I’ve discovered Bound + Tide, I’m now a new fan.

Thanks to Christine and Art for access to the event!

New Hair

By Rachel at @Arrojo.

I went in with no pictures or ideas, except I wanted chin length hair, bangs and something more “fashion-y”. She worked her shear magic, I came out with this, and I’m ecstatic! Rachel is amazing, definitely going back!
