Random musings from 2011 and what made it memorable to me: friendships, my most memorable style snaps, and pictures of my favorite things.

Well, ladies and gentlemen I have a little old announcement. Things around here are changing, for the better! I’m changing up the look, the design aesthetic, and switching over to an official domain. Everything will be live on 1/1/2012!

Why you ask? Well, I was never one to make resolutions or become proactive about making changes just because of the new year. I’ve actually been contemplating this for awhile and finally made some decisions just in time for the new year, so I figured why not make it happen on the first day of 2012?

Now that I’ve made things all mysterious…check back on 1/1/2012 for the big reveal! As I’m counting down the days, you can bet I’ll be blasting this little jam :-)

Relaxation Station

During Katrina’s visit, we had the privilege of popping over to the Soleil Spa Palm Aire for an event hosted by Marissa of Makeup and Manicures. To me, you can never go wrong with the right group of ladies, pampering, and good food. Needless to say I was happy.

A close-up of my nails. I like to say Sasha created a Christmas ornament inspired design. So festive! I am obsessed with the silver color I chose and the best part, my nails are still chip free! Sasha is a nail goddess I tell you. People keep asking if they’re my real nails, yes they are! No acrylics, silk wraps, etc. They keep growing super fast, I have no secret sauce- just luck I guess.

I spent my time snapping pictures of ducks and random objects and neglected to take photos of everyone else. Veronica gave me the look of death for snapping photos of her, so I couldn’t share them :-)

What I’m Wearing: This Season’s Must-Have Midi Skirt

My friend, Katrina, and I took some time out yesterday to frolick in my backyard. The weather was great and there was just enough time to catch a bit of sunlight before the sun set. No shoes, just clothes and smiles. You know, just your everyday basics.

I still can’t figure out what that is in the grass, I think they’re duck/bird feathers. They were everywhere! Happy Monday folks.
