I wrote a guest post for Veronica of
Best of Palm Beach Consignment
last week. I liked it so much that I had to post it here.
Enjoy!
You know that whole love at first sight feeling? Yeah? Well I
fell in love with a dress on a warm and sunny Palm Beach day
while consignment store hopping with Veronica. It was plucked
off a rack and handed to me, practically begging to be tried
on. I did the unthinkable…and gave in. After standing in the
fitting room caressing the soft, buttery fabric, I slipped on
what felt like second skin and looked in the mirror at
perfection. At that second, I truly had an AHA! moment. This
dress was made for me and me alone. There was no turning back
friends…
Naturally, it was begging to be photographed in my backyard,
while blowing in the wind, and looking fabulous.

Condition: Brand NEW!

Consignment shops are filled with magic, some pre-loved and some
new with tags (for a fraction of the retail price). It’s all
about finding the right spots (thank you Veronica for
eliminating that often cumbersome step) and having the patience
to sift through enough merchandise to find the item that was
“made for you”. Has anyone ever fell in love with an amazing
consignment/vintage/thrift find? Leave a comment– I’d love to
hear your AHA! moments!
