Men often hate each other because they fear each other; they fear each other because they don’t know each other; they don’t know each other because they can not communicate; they can not communicate because they are separated.

So I posted this quote exactly one year ago and I got a ton of reblogs on it this weekend. It’s certainly worth a reblog. I’ll stop here, it speaks for itself.

What I’m Wearing: A Very Cool Cardigan

You know those times when you just want to be comfy in your denim, but don’t want to be too “dressed down”? That’s when you need to grab (or buy) a long cardigan, duster, or vest and add a little drama to your outfit! Add some heels to the mix and you’re all set!

Anyone else feel the same about long cardigans? I’m slightly obsessed and it’s ok. I’m also very into ballerina buns now, feels chic and they’re low maintenance!

Delicious

I stopped at one of Veronica’s favorite shops with my mom to browse. Because I’m always ready to snap a photo these days I ended up capturing a few items that caught my eye, they were delicious. I’ll refer to the next few pics as “candy”.

Yum.

Welllllll….you’ve probably noticed that I revamped the look AND the name of this little blog. I explained the name change Blogger of the Month back in August! Hope you like it!

How To Shop Consignment Stores the Right Way

I wrote a guest post for Veronica of Best of Palm Beach Consignment last week. I liked it so much that I had to post it here. Enjoy!

You know that whole love at first sight feeling? Yeah? Well I fell in love with a dress on a warm and sunny Palm Beach day while consignment store hopping with Veronica. It was plucked off a rack and handed to me, practically begging to be tried on. I did the unthinkable…and gave in. After standing in the fitting room caressing the soft, buttery fabric, I slipped on what felt like second skin and looked in the mirror at perfection. At that second, I truly had an AHA! moment. This dress was made for me and me alone. There was no turning back friends…

Naturally, it was begging to be photographed in my backyard, while blowing in the wind, and looking fabulous.

Condition: Brand NEW!

Purchased at- Dina C’s Fab and Funky Consignment

Consignment shops are filled with magic, some pre-loved and some new with tags (for a fraction of the retail price). It’s all about finding the right spots (thank you Veronica for eliminating that often cumbersome step) and having the patience to sift through enough merchandise to find the item that was “made for you”. Has anyone ever fell in love with an amazing consignment/vintage/thrift find? Leave a comment– I’d love to hear your AHA! moments!

Hello 2012!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I’ve been closing out 2011 in a fabulous way with my dear friend, Jen. We’ve been eating amazing food (the fried lobster tails made my entire weekend), bar hopping, relaxing, and enjoying the gorgeous Florida weather. NYE was amazing and in a few hours we’ll be heading to Miami for Deadmau5. Life is good.

Silly time!

Are you ready for my announcement?
