What I’m Wearing: The Little White Dress

The weather has been pretty awesome here! The sun is out and when the sun is out, I’m happy. I was ever so inclined to bring this cream Barney’s Co-op dress out of my closet, it’s one item in my closet that’s really versatile. Why I Love My Feathered Jacket

For Day 2 of Fashion Week, I chose to play with color and texture. I love this jacket! I’ve had it for about a year and have worn it less than 5 times. Tragic. It’s fabulous though, I always get compliments on it, and I wish I had the chance to wear it more. These maroon corduroy jeans are a new addition and have quickly become a staple in my wardrobe. They’re sleek, stretchy, comfy, and the rich color just makes me happy :)

What I’m Wearing: Dolce and Gabbana Dress

When I get a new haircut, I always tend to “match” my ensemble to whatever look the cut gives me. I won’t embarrass myself by explicitly naming the “looks” I’ve come up with for myself, but I do feel quite edgy.

For my trip to NYC, I KNEW I would have to see one of my favorite people in the whole wide world, Yanique. We hit up a few presentations (pictures coming soon, I promise) and she took these photos of me outside of Lincoln Center before I rushed off to my flight. Girl knows how to work a camera. *Snap*

I think I was a mermaid in my past life, being by the water makes me insanely happy. Anywho I spent some time at the marina this weekend with my friend Shellanee during her visit. The sun was out and it was warm, the perfect day for a stroll!

Fashion Tip: Take Your Camera into the Dressing Room

I stopped by Francesca’s on Saturday for the first time and I was pleasantly surprised by the selection! I love trying things on before I buy them, just for the simple satisfaction of playing dress up somewhere other than my bedroom or bathroom. I usually let the mirror do the talking, but decided that since I’ll be wearing these things at some point on the blog, I should test them out on film first. To be honest, it was actually the make or break point for buying each item: whether or not they looked good on camera. You should try it! Cher didn’t make Dion take polaroids of her for nothing in Clueless, she was wise…very wise.
