Easy Glamour: Farah Angsana SS ‘13

[Guest Post by Alex Shook]
Farah Angsana is easily one of the collections I look forward to every season. Her dresses are gorgeous and I fantasize about trying all of them on. This season, I was lucky enough to have Alex of Delayed Missives cover the show on my behalf. Read Alex’s take on the show and see my top 5 looks from the runway!
Farah Angsana Spring 2013 was filled with glitzy sheath dresses and long, flowing gowns with incredible movement. Discovery, travel and love were the inspiration for the collection, which transported me back to a long ago vacation at a luxurious beach resort. I could certainly see the colorful dresses at a poolside lounge during the summer or as excellent destination wedding attire. I would gladly wear one of these dresses to my next summer wedding. The collection projected an air of easy glamour, and I loved the bright red lip done on some of the models. Though the short patterned dresses caught my eye, my favorite looks were the solid chiffons with turquoise with strong embellishment at the neck— especially the turquoise and orange number.
